Glenn ColbyGlenn Colby is the senior researcher for AAUP.  Prior to joining AAUP, Glenn worked as the director of institutional effectiveness at Cascadia College and as an institutional research analyst at University of Colorado Boulder. Glenn is an experienced educator and has taught at all levels from early childhood through college. Much of Glenn’s research to date has focused on how schools and teachers can better support diverse students to successfully engage in rigorous educational activity. Glenn completed a B.S. degree in information and computer science at Georgia Institute of Technology, a B.S. degree in mathematics at Georgia State University, an M.S. degree in teaching at the University of Maine, and a four-year Experimental Education Research Training (ExpERT) graduate fellowship at Vanderbilt University.

 

Ruben Guzman is the research assistant for the AAUP and provides support for the AAUP Faculty Compensation survey as well as other research projects. Ruben has previously worked in a professional association and in numerous higher education settings coordinating research projects. Ruben has completed B.S. and M.S. degrees in exercise science and an M.B.A. in data analytics from Oregon State University.
